Debbie is an incredibly effective and caring Realtor from beginning to end. We were relocating from out-of-state during the pandemic with three young kids - Debbie went above and beyond to make the house hunting through the move-in/settling-in process easy and seamless. She was readily available to discuss our needs (in-person and on the phone), was always on top of the houses in our desired locations, and never hesitated to take us on house tours, she was an incredible offer writer and negotiator (one and done for us), she took ownership of many post offer tasks since we were not in the area and she connected us with endless contractors to help us complete our desired house projects. Our praises of Debbie can go on and on. We reached out to Debbie based on the recommendation of our friend, and we highly recommend her to others.

Debbie accomplished the impossible. I met with four Realtors and chose Debbie because of her warm manner, gentle but persistent follow-up, realistic evaluation of the local real estate market, and practical vision for necessary but not over-the-top prep work for my house. Debbie promised I wouldn’t have to lift a finger as she prepared the house for sale in just one month, and she delivered on that promise. She reached out to her army of devoted contractors, and at a time when contractors were really hard to book, they made room in their busy schedules to fit in my projects. Debbie scheduled all the initial appointments, obtained bids, scheduled and inspected the work, and then followed up to address any needed touch-ups. The projects included a new roof, repairs to a carport, painting, handyman projects, and some landscaping in the garden. Debbie also arranged for a team of cleaners, including window washers, to make the house sparkle. And she provided decorating suggestions and chic accessories to stage the house beautifully. Debbie was also flexible in setting the asking price for the house, raising it from her initial estimate as she did further market research. A skilled negotiator and promoter, she sold the home in just one weekend at slightly over the asking price. When it came time to move, she connected me with a terrific moving company. I truly couldn’t have asked for more. You won’t go wrong if you work with Debbie and her skilled team of colleagues.

Debbie was wonderful! From the introduction to the closing, she was there for us. One would almost think we were her only client. We established a wonderful relationship and she helped navigate a pothole here and there that we could not have handled on our own. She was very firm and confident with prospective buyers, contractors, appraisers, and any others that we had to deal with before closing could be accomplished. She is not free but she is worth every penny. I love how she put more money in our pockets than we originally asked for. You can't go wrong. I am in the process of referring several prospective sellers to her and I can do that with no trepidation. Her wonderful partner, Nora Seigle, is very busy learning the ropes from Debbie. A great student! A great teacher! My years of trepidation were for naught. A wonderful experience from my first handshake (still allowed) to Debbie"s thank you gift at closing. 5+ stars.

Shanli is a good and trustworthy friend of mine since grade school. Recently, I met with him and told him I no longer wanted to rent an apartment and needed to close on a house in 3 weeks from the day we met for lunch. Without even having the Zillow app on my phone. In 4 weeks, we searched, toured around, financed, and closed on a home. He made the impossible happen! A true miracle! I was a first home buyer and he answered all my questions. He also gave amazing recommendations for all parties involved in closing on a home, (the Loan Company, the Title Office, etc.) He set up multiple last-minute tours for me with little notice and he made me feel like his time was all mine!

Debbie helped us sell our home and purchase a new home. Selling my home was fairly easy, comparatively speaking, but not without its challenges. Her experience helped us to quickly navigate these challenges and get our home closed with little drama. Now, this home purchase was my 11th and 3rd new construction. I thought I was ready for anything, but this particular purchase was harder than I ever expected. We found this house 95% complete and thought everything would be pretty easy, but the builder turned out to have several issues, and getting that last 5% turned out to be way more difficult and took several months longer than it should have. Even then, the builder was only able to get it to the certificate of occupancy stage, with many things left over. If it wasn’t for Debbie and her husband, we would have been in a lot of trouble. We likely would have needed to walk away and would have lost considerable money. I bring up her husband as he was our title attorney. Now normally I would go with the title company recommended by the CU as they usually give a cash break, but I decided to listen to Debbie and I am very glad I did. George was able to help us write an escrow agreement that was there to protect us and he was there the whole way through. Debbie and George make a phenomenal team and have the experience to handle any real estate situation. I would highly recommend Debbie and if she recommends her husband for the closing, you should highly consider that as well. You won’t be sorry!

Debbie was a huge asset to us while we were searching for a home. This was our first time buying and we were looking at very competitive locations. She was extremely patient with us as we worked our way through the process. She encouraged us to be aggressive where we could but didn't let us get out over our heads at any point. The one place her experience was most helpful was at the end when we found a home and went under contract. We ran into a few challenges with the seller at the very end, and she really stepped up to work through them. She was our strongest advocate and was able to ask for and get things that we couldn't have without her.

Debbie has a broad knowledge of the greater DC market, which proved incredibly valuable to me as I wavered between buying in several area cities. She also gave me the space to decide without encouraging indecisiveness.
